suggested reading level: 6th grade
my age: 28
i know. based on my last reading choice and today's choice, you've probably dismissed me from your list of book suggestors. and i know. my last book entry talked about the trite and immature themes found in books. i know. i know.
but after reading jane eyre, i need a mental break, ok?
so far, percy jackson isn't as thrilling and creative as harry potter (the most likely comparison). but, it's still a fun read especially with all the references to greek mythology. ahhhh, takes me back to seventh grade. the series takes you through the adventures of percy jackson, a demigod (aka - half mortal, half god). there are 5 books in this series by Rick Riordan, and all of them are 300-400 pages along (but really, what's up with kid's books being so dang long?)
only about a third of the way in so i'll update later =)
